Fox Sports/FS1 commentator Clay Travis recently quipped that Prince Harry and U.S. actress Meghan Markle, a.k.a. the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are entering the transfer protocol.
After a meeting with between Harry and the royal family on Monday, Queen Elizabeth announced that “there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK,” although she explained that more details of this arrangement need to nailed down.
The devil is always in the details, so it remains to be seen how the couple’s so-called progressive lifestyle post-Megxit will operate in practice. The Queen also acknowledged that “we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family.”
While Elizabeth is the Queen of England, Meghan Markle apparently wants to be the Global Queen of Woke and a Social Justice Princess. And her bloke is going along with it.
Parenthetically, would anyone be surprised at this point if the progressive publicity pair got a reality TV show or revealed that they’ve decided to raise baby Archie as gender neutral or nonbinary?

Meghan Was a No-Show
Meghan Markle didn’t fly back from Canada for the royal family meeting. There are reports that the couple, who are now being sometimes referred to as the Markles because of Harry’s emasculation, prefer to eventually relocate to Los Angeles.
Meghan won’t do so, however, while President Trump is in office.
That makes her the only U.S. celebrity that actually moved to Canada after Trump’s election.
It seems the Sussexes, who fly around the world to virtue-signal about global warming and other aspects of the woke agenda, want to leverage their royal status to make big bucks on the red carpet and elsewhere, but without doing any actual work. “Duty-free” celebrites merely famous for being famous.
There are also reports that the Canadian taxpayer may need to cough up millions for additional Sussex security, even though — like the Obamas and the Clintons — that are wealthy enough to afford their own bodyguards.
Currently, 10 London detectives guard the couple around the clock according to the New York Post, at great expense to the U.K. taxpayers. Why the British pubic is on the hook for any of the royals is a good question.
In case you were wondering, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan is not letting up on his criticism of Meghan Markle, who he has deemed “a selfish, ruthless social climber,” and Harry. Moran has utterly rejected any racist overtones in the controversy put forth by Meghan apologists. See the clips below.
Morgan tanked his gig as Larry King’s CNN successor over his gun control obsession. However, the self-described liberal has, for the most part, championed free speech and opposed political correctness and identity politics.
As an admitted Remain voter, he also insisted that lawmakers in the previous parliament thwarted the will of the people by blocking Brexit.
Playing the Royal Race Card
From another Morgan column earlier this week in the Daily Mail:
Yes, poor downtrodden vulnerable innocent Meghan and Harry have been suffering the full gamut of victimhood issues, as befits the most woke, over-sensitive, woe-is-me couple in the world.
That’s why they want to get off the royal train, we’re told.
Except they don’t want to get off it at all.
They just want to get off the boring bits.
They still want to be royal stars, they still want British taxpayers to fund a lot of their luxury lifestyles, and they still want to parade around the world as global celebrities trading off their royal titles.
But they don’t want to do any of the less glamorous hard yard stuff that goes with being a full-time working royal.
I’ve been watching this unedifying saga unfurl over the past few days with mounting fury.
Predominantly, at the disgracefully disrespectful way the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are treating Her Majesty the Queen.
How dare they try to lay down the law to our long-serving Monarch in this way?
How dare they not inform her about their demands before telling the world?…
But I’m also enraged by the specific growing narrative that the only reason Meghan’s been so harshly criticized by the media is because we’re all a bunch of racists living in a racist country.
That’s just a downright lie.
And a particularly nasty, disingenuous lie.
From the moment Meghan Markle came on the royal scene, and it was revealed she was from a mixed-race background, she was welcomed with warm open tolerant arms by a wonderfully multi-cultural and diverse modern Britain that was thrilled to finally see a non-white member of the Royal Family.
She was showered with almost universal praise, especially when the engagement was announced.
The media, in particular, was unanimous in its verdict that this was a great thing for the country
Is Sibling Jealousy in Play?
I don’t have any issue with Meghan Markle because of her skin color, or her gender.
But I do have a lot of issues with the way she has behaved and treated people since marrying Harry, and with Harry too.
As I have said many times, I’ve sadly come to the conclusion Meghan’s a selfish, ruthless social climber who’s spent her life using and dropping people, and is now doing it to the royals.
I also think Harry’s become a weak, whiny, miserable, entitled parody of the fun-loving army prince we all loved…
Now they’re bleating about being ‘bullied’ as they themselves are trying to bully the Queen into turning the Monarchy ‘woke’.
And they’re bleating about sexism and racism despite the fact that other royal women like Camilla Parker-Bowles, Diana and Fergie all had ten times more criticism than Meghan, and last time I checked they all identified as white…
The reality is that Meghan and Harry have brought this ugly situation entirely on themselves and should somehow find the strength in their faux-victim-ravaged, virtue-signalling, self-obsessed souls to admit it has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with their fragile egos and a simmering feud with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who will always be more important in the Royal Family as they will one day be King and Queen.
Meghan Markle is currently suing the Daily Mail publisher after the newspaper published a handwritten letter to her estranged dad. According to various media reports, her father could testify against her if the case ever actually goes to trial.
In his latest column that alludes to court documents filed by Mail lawyers in the pending case, Morgan observed the following:
Yesterday, as the firestorm over her and Harry’s decision to quit as full-time Royals continued to rage, she was seen flying by seaplane (ever mindful, as a celebrity eco-warrier, of her carbon footprint!) to visit a women’s shelter in one of Canada’s poorest neighborhoods…
Like all good actresses, Meghan knows how to distract attention and self-promote herself as a ‘charitable’ person.
Yet what does it say about her that she would take a seaplane to go and see complete strangers (after taking four transatlantic flights between the UK and Canada in just seven weeks), yet has never once got on a plane to go see her own father after he suffered a heart attack amid the stress of her wedding?
It says to me that Meghan Markle’s pretense to be the Queen of Hearts is built on the flimsiest of self-interested sand.
Oh, she’s all heart for strangers when there are cameras around.
But it seems she’s utterly heartless when it comes to the man who helped raise her, supported her financially, and about whom, right to the moment she met her handsome prince, she waxed lovingly and lyrically about on public social media platforms.
On TV yesterday, Piers Morgan claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “railroaded” the Queen into giving in to their demands without stripping them of their royal titles to avoid racism or sexism allegations, accusations that the media accepts at face value.
