Asking for a friend: Does your company get together for a group cry after an election?
That’s appears to be what happened at Google’s all-hands TGIF meeting in November 2016 after Donald Trump’s win in a video just leaked to Breitbart News.
Google continues to insist there is no political bias in the way the search engine giant operates.
Breitbart described the reaction of Google’s top execs to the election results.
“These individuals, who preside over a company with unrivaled influence over the flow of information, can be seen disparaging the motivations of Trump voters and plotting ways to use their vast resources to thwart the Trump agenda.”
Kent Walker, a senior VP at Google, says that it's important for Google "to be in the arena" fighting against "populism" and "nationalism" after Trump's victory to make sure that Trump "is a blip, is a hiccup." pic.twitter.com/LHla5aezaU

The Google bosses’ dissing of Trump voters seems to be a classic case of projection, in that their criticism — such as referencing so-called low-information voters — could easily be leveled at Hillary Clinton fans.
Google responded to the Breitbart-published video with a statement that read, in part, that “Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products. ”
Shorter Google: "Who are you going to believe about over-the-top bias problems, us or your lying eyes and ears that heard all about it in extraordinary detail for a solid hour?" https://t.co/Rxn5quqpvg

As Breitbart also detailed, emails that leaked this week also showed that Google execs sought to drive up Latino voter turnout to help Hillary Clinton, but were shocked to discover that Trump received a sizable share of their vote.
“Google’s widespread support for the Clinton campaign also involved direct cooperation, according to emails between Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook and Clinton aide Cheryl Miller. The emails, published by Wikileaks, mention a group run by Eric Schmidt, then the executive chairman of Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company,” the Washington Free Beacon explained.
This would be barely believable before the “confidential internal use only” watermark in the video. They were talking in their echo chamber & didn’t care. They control 91% of all search and they get to decide what everyone sees. If this isn’t a Monopoly I don’t know what is. https://t.co/t04curuRte

Setting aside one high-profile conspiracy theorist, these developments emerge as Big Tech continues to suspend or de-platform mainstream, peaceful, right-of-center individuals on various pretexts. There are hardly ever any reports of leftists being subject to censorship no matter how disgusting or offensive the content that they produce.
.@google needs to explain why this isn’t a threat to the Republic. Watch the video. Google believes they can shape your search results and videos to make you “have their values”. Open borders. Socialism. Medicare 4 all. Congressional hearings! Investigatehttps://t.co/jlbSgMMrLT

Writing in the American Spectator in the context the Amazon book-banning of famous pickup-artist Roosh V, Robert Stacy McCain focused on the left’s anti-free-speech agenda.
“The election of Donald Trump in 2016 seems to have inspired a climate of paranoia in Silicon Valley. Anyone suspected of dissenting from progressive orthodoxies could become the next target in this digital purge, where accusations of “hate’ are used to justify the suppression of politically incorrect voices…Instead of free speech being suppressed by an all-powerful government, the enemies of freedom are gigantic multibillion-dollar Internet companies eager to appease swarming squadrons of social justice warriors (SJWs) who bombard them with complaints about alleged purveyors of “hate.'”

Should there be an investigation into potential collusion between Google and the Clinton campaign?
