The abrupt decision by the A&E network and Big Fish entertainment on June 10 to cancel Live PD still doesn’t sit well with fans of the immensely popular law enforcement ride-along TV show.

One of the most popular shows in the cable television space, Live PD, is officially cancelled just one day after host Dan Abrams vowed that the show would return after its hiatus.
As George Floyd-related protests continue, the Paramount Network has cancelled the the long-running reality show Cops just as its 33rd season was about to premiere.
Live PD will not air tonight or Saturday evening on the A&E Network.
In a statement, A&E explained:
“Out of respect for the families of George Floyd and others who have lost their lives, in consultation with the departments we follow, and in consideration for the safety of all involved, we have made the decision not to broadcast Live PD this weekend.”
