Update 7/9/20: Kirk’s eulogy for WEEI:
Kirk Minihane, the host of the Kirk Minihane Show on the Barstool Sports podcast network, is taking a victory lap after the release of the spring ratings book that reflected the listenership, or specifically the lack thereof, for Boston sports radio station WEEI, his former employer.
“I won. WEEI lost.”
Watch the Periscope video below from the former co-host of WEEI’s then-top-rated Kirk and Callahan morning drive show.

when @GerryCallahan got forced out that was the end for me. listened to the new show once and haven’t been back since
Weak/narrow mindsets like that of @DavidFieldETM are why cancel culture is thriving. But in this case, WEEI deserves what it gets. I was a 6-6 listener but can’t defend a station that lost its desire to stay open and honest on controversial topics, sports or otherwise#cancelweei

I miss Gerry sometimes still cause they had great chemistry but Gerry still does a lot of the shit Kirk hated so he’ll never do a show with him everyday again but it would be cool if they got together once a month or something and could even bring Mut and whoever else once fired
