  • Greene County, Mo. — “Responding to neighbor dispute.” Corporals Reyne Wallace and Zac Hoffeditz make contact with both parties and try to mediate a situation that involves parked vehicles outside homes. Among other things, Cpl. Wallace suggests that one or perhaps both of the parties discuss the matter with the county zoning commission. He also asks the parties to ignore each other in the meantime. “I’m asking him to be on the up and up, so I’m gonna ask you to be on the up and up, okay?”

Cpl. Wallace: “…I’m out of my wheelhouse with parking…”

  • Dorchester County, S.C. — On Patrol: Live captions: “Report of domestic incident,” “Investigating disturbance.” Corporal Barry Lowe and other units respond to the scene, which includes removing a fish tank from the residence — or trying to. On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams: “Again, another instance of something officers don’t exactly want to deal with.” On Patrol: Live studio analyst Tom Rizzo: “There’s piranhas in there. I’ve seem them.”
  • Berkeley County, S.C. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Responding to noise complaint.” Sergeant Travis Richardson makes contact with two females on scene. #OPLive host Dan Abrams: “This is a cranky neighbor night.” No #OPLive follow-up on this call, however.
  • Baton Rouge, La. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Searching for foot bail suspect.” Sergeant Jordon Lear, Officer Christopher Coleman, and other cops search for a suspect who fled from another LEO. Perimeter established. Drone deployed. Sgt. Lear searches a nearby canal where he got shot at previously: “So, bad luck canal.” On Patrol: Live caption: “Bad luck canal.” The suspect allegedly just got out of prison after a five-year sentence. When Sgt. Lear mentions that the suspect allegedly has a murder charge, too. #OPLive host Dan Abrams reaction: “Oh, wow…that ups the ante here as well, a lot…”
  • Tempe, Arizona — On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of trespass.” Officer Kate Anaradian and two colleagues respond to the scene where an Airbnb renter allegedly refuses to leave. Before revealing herself as from the police, Officer Anaradian initially knocks on the door with these announcements: “housekeeping,” “cleaners.” No response. Cops try to obtain the door code and also run the plate of the vehicle in the carport. On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams: “We were just discussing whether there’d actually be housekeeping in an Airbnb.” Cops also make contact with the renters by phone. Abrams: “It seems maybe there wasn’t a trespass order…now it seems like it’s more of a civil issue…” As explained in the audio clip embedded below, the situation turns out to be a misunderstanding.

Officer Anaradian recap: “So we got a hold of everybody. Sounds like there’s a miscommunication between the person homes, the Airbnb, and the person renting the Airbnb. Sounds like they thought they were gonna be here for a couple more days. So we’re just gonna get them both to stay in contact with each other, clear things up, and we’ll be out of here shortly. So as of right now, we don’t have a trespassing; it’s just a miscommunication.” #OPLive host Dan Abrams: “So that one was resolved.”

  • Richland County, S.C. — Master Deputies Deon Mathis and Luke Martin, and other units initiate a traffic stop on a car that was allegedly reported stolen. The driver is detained. Deputy Mathis: “Who let you use this vehicle?” Subject: “This is my homeboy car.” Separately, the subject allegedly has a warrant from another jurisdiction.

  • Greene County, Mo. — In the video clip below, Cpl. Wallace responds to a residence on a 911 hangup. On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams: “Either a dog making noises or a person making dog noises.” Cpl. Wallace makes contact with the homeowner. The call was accidental.

Cpl. Wallace recap: “So it was, in fact, dogs making dog noises. Said he had several in there, as a cute, old basset hound coming to the door. But no emergency so we’re gonna get out of here.” On Patrol: Live host Da Abrams: “Maybe that guy’s a little more interesting than he thought.” On Patrol: Live studio analyst Larkin: “Should have had him bring the dogs out.”

  • Triple Play #3 — a Sandy Springs, Ga., PD, pursuit.

  • Greene County, Mo. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of scam at adult video store.” Cpl. Wallace and another unit make contact with the complainant on scene in a scam. Cpl. Wallace: “Any bitcoin wallets or anything like that is always a big red flag.” On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of clerk being toyed with.” #OPLive host Dan Abrams quips that “Checking in with Tom Rizzo for some ‘expertise’ on this.” Cpl. Wallace will file a report for detectives to potentially follow up.

  • Richland County, S.C. — Corporal Avery Arrington conducts a friendly traffic stop for alleged speeding and being “all over the road.” Expired tag. One of the occupants says hello to Sticks Larkin, who then quips “real recognizes real.” The driver is apparently released with a warning to slow down and renew the registration.
  • Baton Rouge, La. (pre-recorded segment) — In the video clip below, Corporal Andrew Carlton and another officer respond to a disturbance outside a store. #OPLive host Dan Abrams intro: “[Cpl. Carlton] learned that while candy and champagne are often associated with good times and celebrations, sometimes the two just don’t mix.”

  • Baton Rouge, La. — In a foot pursuit, Officer Coleman detains a subject after a taser deployment. Officer Colemans explains that the initiating traffic stop was for “not having a license plate on the vehicle.” On Patrol: Live caption: “Suspect in custody.” According to Officer Coleman, the suspect allegedly tossed a gun “like it was a Frisbee or something” on the roof of a future donut shop. Officer Coleman also mentions that “the weed smell is overwhelming” from the car. The fire department responds to the scene. Paramedics also respond. Officer Coleman, Sgt. Lear, and an #OPLive cameraman (“that’s dedication”) climb the ladder. In the studio, Tom Morris, Jr., correctly surmises that the weapon found and secured by police will be a Glock.

Sgt. Lear preliminary recap: “Officer Coleman made a traffic stop on this black car. Apparently, the subject decided he didn’t want to interact with Officer Coleman, so he took off running, and during the foot pursuit, Officer Coleman noticed, or observed, him throw a gun on top of this Metro T-Mobile building, or something. He presumes it’s a gun. So we’re gonna get the fire department to come, put us the ladder up, and we’ll try to recover any evidence that’s possibly in the store…”

Sgt. Lear: “…so I guess we got to live out a little bit of a police dream of being a fireman. That’s absolutely not true.”

#OPLive host Dan Abrams: “Fire department is there for two reasons. Number one, to help them get that gun off the roof, and number two, to check the guy out, because he was tased as well.”

  • Tempe, Ariz. — Officer Austin Johnson responds to a convenience store where a customer allegedly assaulted the clerk with a cup of ice. Police will review store camera footage in the course of the investigation.

  • Dorchester County, S.C. — Cpl. Lowe, with Sergeant Adam Barnhill as backup, initiates a somewhat contentious traffic stop on a slow roller. Bleeping. Cpl. Lowe: “There’s several reasons why I stopped you. One: Your car reeks of marijuana… Two: You committed several lane violations back here…” Car search and pat down. Sgt. Barnhill to the driver: “Unfortunately, people hide stuff in their scrotum…” The driver is subsequently released with no charges.

On Patrol: Live Hour 3

  • BOLO segment — a Walton County, Fla., murder suspect:
  • Clayton County, Ga. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Possible dine and dash.” Deputy Desmond Whitson respond to a seafood restaurant on this call. Deputy Whitson summary: “The manager said they decided to pay, threw some food on the ground and left, so there’s no offense this time. They don’t need us anymore.” Two enthusiastic individuals, one of whom is a customer, come out to the parking lot and promote the restaurant for #OPNation: “…make sure y’all come and see us…”
  • Tempe, Ariz. — Officer Johnson makes contact with the host of a party at a residence on a report of one or more persons jumping off a roof. Officer Johnson gives the host a friendly, “blanket warning” to tone things down, including the music. #OPLive host Dan Abrams: “The roof jumpers are gone, so everything’s okay.”
  • Richland County, S.C. — Deputies Mathis and Martin search a truck after a traffic stop. The vehicle allegedly had fled initially. Drugs allegedly found. One occupant is detained. Deputy Mathis: “At the very least, right now we’re looking at the failure to stop for blue lights and drug charges…”

  • Clayton County, Ga. — Deputy Whitson conducts a traffic stop on an alleged wrong-way driver and apparently ends up releasing the driver with a warning. The driver and passenger switch seats before they leave.
  • Tempe, Ariz. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of family fight.” Officer Johnson and another unit respond to a hotel on this call which apparently and/or allegedly involves an altercation between a father and son. After making contact with some family members, Officer Johnson intends to search the area for the teenage son who reportedly fled on an e-scooter.
  • Missing segment (Miles, Texas) with Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson remotely along with Angeline Hartman, who gives a shout-out to Tom Morris, Jr., in the #OPLive studiio.
  • Tempe, Ariz. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of bar fight.” Officer Johnson is re-dispatched from the previous incident to provide backup for a different call. A male is detained outside a bar as Officer Johnson arrives on scene. Bleeping: On Patrol: Live caption: “Investigating bar fight.”
  • Richland County, S.C. — On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams: Cpl. Arrington “has got a report from a hotel of someone doing drugs there.” Cpl. Arrington appears to tell the occupants of hotel room that “they said you gotta go.”
  • Dorchester County, S.C. — Cpl. Lowe and several other units initiate a traffic stop at gunpoint on a report of a man brandishing a gun. Deputies detain two occupants who were in the truck. A firearm is allegedly found in the vehicle. As the episode concludes, Cpl. Lowe provides a preliminary recap of the pending investigation in the video clip below :
