This On Patrol: Live recap/update also includes the often-provocative or playful reaction on X (formerly Twitter) to the law enforcement incidents in the field.
As #OPNation (i.e., the cohort consisting of the show’s avid followers) is well aware, and for those viewers and/or social media users new to the program, On Patrol Live on Reelz is more or less a reboot or rebrand of Live PD.

On Patrol: Live Recap for Friday, September 25, 2026 (#OPL Episode 05-19)
Note: Some of the disturbances in this episode were preliminarily and/or erroneously thought to have involved the use of guns.
- Richland County, S.C. — In the video clip below, Master Deputy Deon Mathis and other units conduct a traffic stop at a gas station and conduct an investigation. Deputies seize some pills and a license plate.
- Toledo, Ohio (pre-recorded segment) — In the video clip below, Officer Chris Mulinix and several other cops detain a man who isn’t wearing clothes. On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams introduces the segment by saying that Officer Mulinix tried “to track down a naked guy who ran into the back side of an office complex.” After a medical evaluation, Officer Mulinix indicates that the subject will likely be arrested for public indecency.

- Bradford, Ark. — Officer Tyler Miller and several colleagues conduct a traffic stop on a pickup truck. The driver pours out numerous Twisted Tea cans. On Patrol: Live captions: “Arkansas tea party,” “The tea party continues.”
- Fullerton, Calif. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Gun found in water.” In the video clip below, Officer Jason Coleman and other cops respond to call where some juveniles who were fishing found a gun, which appears to potentially be an AR-15. Detectives to investigate further including to determine if the weapon might have been involved in a prior crime.

- Baton Rouge, La. — Corporal Blake Welborn, Detective Andrew Carlton, and other units conduct a traffic stop. Consensual vehicle search.
Det. Carlton recap: “Corporal Welborn stopped this car for having a stolen plate on the back of it. He’s saying he got it from a friend that he knew. We took the plate because we have to turn it into the DMV, and then take it out of NCIC…I think he has insurance on the car. He said no, or he said he does, but it was on his phone, and his phone was recently stolen, but he did not report his phone stolen. But in Louisiana, you are required to carry insurance in your vehicle at all times. So if you have your phone stolen, and that’s the only form of insurance that you have, or the documentation of insurance, then you need to report it with us. So he may be receiving some citations today, and he’s gonna be issued a summons for illegal possession of stolen things for the license plate. I’m gonna run the VIN to see if it has insurance on it. If it does, he’ll just get a summons, and he’ll be cut loose.”
- Toledo, Ohio — On Patrol: Live caption: “Weapons call.” Officer Eric Draper and many other officers respond to some people, according to #OPL host Dan Abrams, allegedly “flashing weapons.” Cops subsequently detain several subjects outside a check-cashing store in the investigation. Abrams update: “Everyone there was released with no charges.”
- Tempe, Ariz. — Officer Kate Anaradian initiates a traffic stop for an alleged suspended plate. After the officer double checks, it turns out that the plate is not suspended; the driver is quickly released.
Officer Anaradian traffic stop recap: “I pulled her over because the plate popped up as suspended, but when I typed it in, you can’t tell the difference between zeros and Os, and I typed it in as a zero, came up suspended. But I checked her registration; she very chill. Came back as an O, and she’s not suspended, so she’s free to go.”

- Baton Rouge, La. (pre-recorded segment) — #OPL studio analyst Sean Larkin introduces the segment by quipping that “Recently in Baton Rouge, Sergeant Jordon Lear was in a near wreck with a driver who was definitely ‘wrecked.'” Sgt. Lear initiates a traffic stop at an apartment complex. Field sobriety testing to be conducted at the police station. #OPL host Dan Abrams: “The driver blew a point 27, and officers later confirmed this was his fifth DWI.”
- Toledo, Ohio — Officer Draper plus Detectives Aaron Dudley and Jeff Milum and others respond to a shots-fired call. In the investigation, cops are, however, unable to find a victim or any evidence of a shooting. Officer Draper mentions that “We had one of our crews talked to a couple of people. It’s unclear if they heard any shots fired or anything like that…the 911 caller — sounds like she never stated to 911 that there was anyone shot, just that there was someone roaming the halls, pounding on doors, asking for help…” #OPL host Dan Abrams: “So no one may have been shot at all there. It may have been one of these swatting calls, which are maddening for something like this.” #OPL studio analyst Larkin: “And just the little radio traffic that I heard there, it sounded like the woman was saying ‘I didn’t say somebody was shot. Someone was banging on the doors down the hallway.’ Somehow it got modified into a shooting call, so everybody’s heading there hot and heavy.”
On Patrol: Live Hour 2
- Triple Play #1 — a San Diego, Calif., burglary.
- Greene County, Mo. — Deputies Ethan Leasman and Travis Skinner conduct a traffic stop. Four occupants. K9 Gigi sniff. On Patrol: Live captions: “K9 alerted,” Vehicle search. On Patrol: Live caption: “Drug paraphernalia found.” The female driver is detained, and according to Deputy Skinner is “probably going to jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.” A male occupant, whose bike is on the top of the vehicle, is released so he can do a number two at a nearby gas station restroom.
On Patrol: Live host Dan Abrams: “…a little gas before the gas station…”
- Richland County, S.C. — Corporal Avery Arrington conducts a friendly traffic stop on a slow roller for no lights. The motorist apparently just bought the car. The driver is released with a warning.
- Tempe, Ariz. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Roommate dispute.” In a call that consumed an inordinate amount of the show’s airtime, Officer Anaradian makes contact with a male in connection with a purported roommate issue. Officer Aradian implies that this scenario absent any permanent damage to property seems to be a civil issue, but she will document the call and provide the man with a report number.
Officer Anaradian: “We’re talking about a baking pan, and your girlfriend’s name is poo poo…”
- Tempe, Ariz. (pre-recorded segment) — In the video clip below, Officer Sydney Cereska and the fire department, respond to a “huge” fire that might be just a “small bonfire.”
Officer Cereska: “The ‘Penis Man’ has struck again…”

- Greene County, Mo. (pre-recorded segment) — Corporal Joe Duran and other deputies conduct a traffic stop for alleged expired plates. #OPL host Dan Abrams introduces the segment by quipping that “a passenger told deputies she’d never been in trouble before for drugs, but there was a ‘hole’ in her story.” Drugs allegedly found. According to Cpl. Duran, the male driver will be charged for alleged drugs, and the female passenger will be taken to jail on a warrant.
Cpl. Duran: “…I had no idea that you put it up your rectum. That’s a new one. I’ve been doing this awhile. Never heard of that before…”

- Toledo, Ohio — On Patrol: Live caption: “Report of gun threat.” Officers Draper, Mulinix, and Mike Gee investigate on scene on an apartment complex where a 13 year old was allegedly threatened with a weapon. Yelling on scene. #OPL host Dan Abrams: Police are “gonna try and take the temperature down, sort out what’s going on…”
Officer Draper recap: “…they obviously know each other. Alcohol is obviously a factor as well. So I think they’re gonna do a report on it, and hopefully get them separated to their own homes, and be done with it for the night…disagreement turned into a fight type of thing…”
On Patrol: Live Hour 3
- Tempe, Ariz. — On Patrol: Live caption: “Weapons call.” Officer Anaradian and other units respond to a report of someone allegedly brandishing a knife. In the course of the investigation of an alleged or suspected aggravated assault, including obtaining a description from one or more possible witnesses, police detain a male and a female. According to Officer Anaradian after reviewing video footage, the female who “was not advancing towards anyone with the knife; she was like dangling a knife above her head…” is arrested for disorderly conduct and giving a false name. In the video clip below, Officer Anaradian mentions that “it’s possible some witnesses may [unintelligible] the wrong impression.” Officer Anaradian gives the male, who has a warrant, some relaxation techniques. Paramedics arrive on scene to check out the male.
- Triple Play #2 — Franklin Township, N.J., police officers remove a python from a car engine.
- Dorchester County, S.C. — On Patrol: Live caption: “In pursuit.” In the video clips above and below, Corporal Barry Lowe and other deputies purse a fleeing Dodge Charger which subsequently wrecks out in the woods. Deputies converge on the vehicle, which is unoccupied. Cpl. Lowe and K9 Yoda search on foot for a suspect. Separately, deputies detain the registered owner at another location. On Patrol: Live caption: “Suspect in custody.” #OPL host Dan Abrams: “…he reported it stolen, and they questioned him, and guess what they found on him? The car keys.”
- Richland County, S.C. — As the episode concludes, Corporal Arrington and several other deputies conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the woods that may have been involved in an accident.
