Most people go through day-to-day life without being consumed by politics. Politics is an afterthought. That’s kind of the way it should be and is perhaps the best argument for the smallest-possible government. Led by the cancel-culture-implementing outrage mob, unfortunately, the institutional, socialism-supporting left in America seemingly wants to politicize everything and disrupt the country’s cohesion.
The Never Trumpers are GOP establishment luminaries and others in the Washington-New York media/political circuit who would have preferred Democrat Hillary Clinton winning the presidency in 2016 over their party’s official candidate. Since the election, vocal Never Trumpers, Republicans in Name Only, and assorted globalists have gone increasingly left ideologically out of animosity for the 45th president. Putting the “con” in conservative, they have abandoned all the long-time principles they supposedly espoused to collect a check from CNN or MSNBC or another liberal benefactor.
In a lengthy, skillfully written article, a liberal Trump foe writes that MSNBC’s Russia-collusion-obsessed Rachel Maddow can be as “bonkers” as chalkboard-loving Glenn Beck.
Another day, another Trump supporter badgered in public merely for wearing a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat.
“In a video that has been widely circulated on the internet, a crazed leftist put her hands on a woman wearing a Trump hat in a post office, calling her a ‘racist,'” Big League Politics reported.
One of the most disturbing outcomes of the Trump era is exemplified by those establishment conservatives/GOP officials who have gone left merely to collect a paycheck from MSNBC or CNN. These self-important nobodies, displaying their real or feigned Trump Derangement Syndrome, put the “con” in conservative. They oppose Trump even when the president is implementing many of the policies that they supposedly supported over their careers in politics, media, and/or think tanks.
