If you’re one of the dwindling number of CNN prime-time viewers, or you’ve been stuck watching the force-fed network at an airport, you’ve probably noticed that anchor Chris Cuomo appears to be in the late stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

FNC host Tucker Carlson points out that Cuomo, who he observed spouts gibberish every night on CNN, is one of many offspring of prominent Democrats who somehow managed to get into prestigious and highly selective Ivy League colleges like Yale or Harvard.

Chris Cuomo, Academic Genius

Is it really a mystery how Chris Cuomo got into Yale (let alone get hired to do a TV show)? Carlson thinks he has pinpointed the answer.

“Yale has famously high admissions standards; your kids couldn’t get into Yale. No chance. They’d have to be incredibly smart; geniuses really. Is Chris Cumo a secret genius?…Actually, no. It turns out he has an even more impressive qualification…if you want to get into a top American college, it’s best to have a parent who is a well-known Democratic politician. That’s the most effective credential of all…”

This led Carlson to conclude that the meritocracy is a sham, and that the current Ivy League conveyor belt is far more corrupt than that the “Varsity Blues” scandal that ensnared a bunch of celebrities.

And what about income inequality about which Democrats always complain?

Democrats Disproportionately Send Kids to the Ivies

Former Senator and VP Al Gore sent four kids to Harvard, which is rarer than “getting hit by lightning every single day for a year.”

Admitting a U.S. senator’s son or daughter into Harvard through a rigged admissions system is just smart business for those elite institutions, he added. “These are the same politicians who funnel billions in taxpayer dollars to colleges and universities ever year.”

It is certainly possible that the kids of Republican office-holders also got into the very liberal, PC Ivy League, at least provided their social media accounts pass muster.

Cuomo is the son of the late New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, whose name was slapped on the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

Chris Cuomo also apparently attended a private high school, which is ironic given his dad’s support for public schools as well as that Democrats and teachers’ unions work hand in glove.
