Under pressure from censorship-loving left-wing activists, one or more advertisers pulled their commercials from Tucker Carlson Tonight after the FNC host had the temerity to report on what was actually happening in Tijuana, Mexico, since the migrant caravan showed up there.

After the social justice cohort took an adjective from his coverage of the Occupy Wall Street-like living conditions the migrants are creating out of context and some sponsors fled, Tucker Carlson responded in the editorial during Monday evening’s broadcast.

Carlson vowed that he would never submit to intimidation as long as his show was on the air.

He added that he would continue to report on the actual, on-the-ground impact of illegal, mass immigration, including quality-of-life issues on both sides of the border.

“Nobody else in the media seemed interested in what happened to the caravan. As long as the migrants remained in Mexico, they couldn’t really be used to attack Donald Trump, so the press moved on to the next dumb, shiny thing…our immigration policy exists for the profit and the comfort of a relatively tiny number of people. Everybody else gets shafted…meanwhile, the people profiting from the policy don’t want the rest of us to think about it  too much. They want us to just mouth the empty platitudes and move on…those won’t shut up get silenced…”

Carlson also wondered, as have many others, why any country would admit mass numbers of low-skilled immigrants when jobs are increasingly becoming automated or centered in the high-tech sector.
